  Govind Pal Honoured with the ‘Bharat Bhasha Bhushan Samman’ Bhopal: Senior litterateur Govind Pal, born in Panna (Madhya Pradesh) and now based in Bhilai (Chhattisgarh), was conferred the prestigious ‘Bharat Bhasha Bhushan Samman’ in recognition of his significant literary contributions. The honour was presented at a National Felicitation Ceremony organized by the Akhil Bharatiya Bhasha Sahitya Sammelan on 17 February at the Raj Sabhagar of Dushyant Kumar Smarak Pandulipi in Bhopal. The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Raghunandan Sharma, former Member of Parliament and Executive President of Manas Bhavan, Bhopal. The event was presided over by Vijaydutt Shridhar, Padma Shri awardee and Director of the Madhavrao Sapre Journalism Research Institute. Release of the Children’s Literature Special  On 11 January, under the banner of the newly registered Mukt Swar Sahitya Samiti, a programme was organised at Geeta Bhavan, Brajmandal, Sector-6, Bhilai, which included the release of the Children’s Literature Special Issue published by the committee and a Poets’ Meet (Kavi Sammelan). The programme was presided over by renowned poet and litterateur and President of Mukt Swar Sahitya Samiti, Govind Pal. The chief guest on the occasion was Shivnath Shukla, Bureau Chief of Tarun Chhattisgarh and a well-known children’s storyteller.      Book Launch of Bhilai Writers At the New Delhi World Book Fair The World Book Fair was organized at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from 10 January to 18 January 2026. During this prestigious event, three office-bearer writers of Mukt swar Sahitya Samiti, Bhilai, had their books published by New World Publication, New Delhi, under the guidance of renowned poet and literary figure and President of the committee, Govind Pal.
