Under the aegis of Sanskriti evam Sahitya Shodh Samiti, Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh, the Sahityakar Adhiveshan Srijan Mahotsav – 2026 was grandly organized on 8th February at the auditorium of Sandipani Vidya Niketan, Balaghat.
During the event, poets, poetesses, and literary personalities associated with the highly active Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti of Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, were honored with various awards for their outstanding literary creations and achievements.
The President of Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti and renowned poet-literary figure, Govind Pal, was conferred the Kavya Kumudini Alankaran – 2026 in memory of Late Bhagwant Raoji Ade for his poetry collection titled “Ek Nai Subah Ka Suraj” (The Sun of a New Dawn). As part of the honor, he was presented with a certificate of appreciation, memento, shawl, pearl garland, and a cash prize.
Thereafter, the Deputy Secretary of Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti and poet-literary figure Shankar Bhattacharya was honored with the Late Smt. Madhuri Karmehe Memorial Award after his poem was selected as the Best Composition in the All India Poetry Competition. He was presented with a certificate, memento, shawl, pearl garland, and a cash prize.
Subsequently, well-known poetess and Vice President of Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti Shishlata, poet and Treasurer Santosh Jatav “Jalouni”, and Convener and poet-writer Pandit Vasudev Bhattacharya, along with others, were conferred the title of Hindi Sahitya Ratna for their outstanding literary contributions. They were respectfully invited to the Manch and honored with certificates, mementos, and medals.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary Bhushan Chipde, senior veteran writer and lifetime member Dr. Shiromani Mathur, and Dr. Neelkanth Devangan were also conferred the Hindi Sahitya Ratna title. However, due to certain unavoidable reasons, they could not attend the event in Balaghat. Therefore, their awards were formally handed over to the office bearers of Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti on the stage with best wishes and congratulations conveyed to them.
During the Fourth Srijan Mahotsav, the magazine Spandan – 2026 was also released, featuring the literary works of all the honored writers. The children’s literature special issue published by Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti was presented to the General Secretary of Sanskriti evam Sahitya Shodh Samiti, Madhya Pradesh, Balaghat, Ashok Kumar Singhāsane “Aseem”, President Prof. L. C. Jain, and other dignitaries present on the stage.
For these remarkable achievements and honors, and for bringing pride to Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, many distinguished intellectuals, journalists, and literary personalities extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the writers of Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti.
