Thought seminar and poetry gathering
Recently, a thought seminar and poetry gathering were organized in Ruabandha Sector under the aegis of the Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti. The program was graced by the presence of the chief guest, renowned social worker and singer Mr. Kamal Kumar Agrawal. The event was presided over by the President of the committee, Mr. Govind Pal.
The distinguished guest for the occasion was Mr. Narendra Sikkewal, General Secretary of the Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti and Superintendent of Police (CID). The program began with the worship of Goddess Saraswati and a formal welcome of the guests.
Following this, the Deputy Secretary of the committee, Mr. Shankar Bhattacharya, provided detailed information about the upcoming collaborative anthology titled “Muktaswar ki Abhivyakti”, to be published by the committee. He informed that the anthology will be reviewed at a national level by renowned critics and will be made available in the National Library as well as various universities across the country. Each contributor will be given twenty pages for their biography and literary works. The book will be published by a reputed publishing house with an ISBN number and will also be available on Flipkart.
Treasurer Mr. Santosh Jatav Jaloni shared that every fifteen days, the committee will honor the best poet from the poetry gatherings for outstanding recitation. The program was smoothly conducted by the Vice President, Ms. Sheeshlata Shalu, who invited poets one by one for their recitations.
Participants including Shankar Bhattacharya, Vipul Sen, Buddhsen Sharma, Vasudev Bhattacharya, Santosh Jatav Jaloni, Sheeshlata Shalu, and Narendra Kumar Sikkewal presented their representative works. A humorous and engaging story titled “Tuntuni and the King”, based on a Bengali folktale written by Upendra Nath and translated into Hindi by Govind Pal, was also presented.
The chief guest, Mr. Kamal Kumar Agrawal, captivated the audience by singing melodious songs of Mohammed Rafi and Kishore Kumar in his soulful voice.
Former officer of the Bhilai Steel Plant Vigilance Department, Mr. Vinod Kumar Verma, was also specially present at the event. Additionally, co-editor Mr. Dayalan Madhavan Unni and legal advisor Advocate Satyavati Shukla of the Muktaswar Sahitya Samiti were also present.
Special support for the event was provided by Publicity Secretary Mr. Arjun Mandal and Mr. Mithun Das, Secretary of Geet Vitan Kala Kendra.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Deputy Secretary Mr. Shankar Bhattacharya.
